Left-handed Design for a right-handed world

It’s a blue Blu’s World. This should have been the first post of this blog, but it isn’t. Doesn’t matter. That’s just the way left-handed people are thinking and acting:   It’s a kind of somnambulistic existence, a certain strange way of life. Approximately 10% of the world population is left-handed. You might say now: So far, so good – but who cares and who the hell is Blu?

As a kind of fact, left-handed people seem to be born with a certain kind of resistance. A resistance against parents, teachers and all the other institutions, which want them to use the right hand: the right hand. And – yes – it’s an obvious obstacle, if you can’t read, what y’re just writing, because y’re covering the letters with y’re writing hand. Or – even worse – y’re blurring the lines by using a fountain pen. (It’s not, because you like to use it, it’s because you have to use it) So y’ll never get an A in fine writing and have to struggle every day against the pressure to change the wings. Thats the one side of the coin.

The other side are these fantastic pictures, colors and imaginations, which are flowing steadily from your brain into your left hand. You can’t help it: you have to draw.

You’ll never get rid of these figures…
